Serving its member-owners since 1952, Creighton Federal Credit Union provides full-service, retail banking to members primarily from the education and health-care fields, catholic parishes and religious organizations of several denominations, and numerous varied businesses.
With five convenient offices and over 85 ATM locations throughout the Omaha - Council Bluffs area, Creighton Federal offers its members both traditional and innovative financial products including internet banking, electronic bill paying, debit cards, and investment products such as stocks, bonds, and mutual funds through a relationship with Financial Network. Loans are available for a wide variety of purposes such as auto, personal, home equity, and real estate, including a special 10/30 mortgage with half the closing costs of a traditional mortgage. All deposits are insured up to $100,000 by the National Credit Union Administration. Investment products offered through Financial Network are not FDIC or NCUA insured. May loose value. No credit union guarantee.
As a direct result of Creighton Federal now being able to disburse guaranteed student loans electronically to colleges and universities, Creighton University has placed this credit union on its "preferred lender" list. The advantage to students with CFCU loans is they no longer have to wait in line to endorse student loan proceeds checks over to the university. Most schools nationwide prefer electronic disbursement of loans. Thus, CFCU can provide this service to any student member attending any participating school.
Persons, businesses, and organizations interested in membership at Creighton Federal Credit Union are invited to inquire. Telephone 402-341-2121 or 1-800-967-1477, or email us.
