- Make sure you get your NSLP-guaranteed Stafford or PLUS loan from Creighton Federal Credit Union. Its simple. All you have to do is include the 6-digit lender code (829565) in the lender section. All Stafford loans have a 0% default fee.
- Make on-time payments and reduce your loan principal balance. Make your payments on time on your Stafford or PLUS loan and we'll skip your last 5 payments.
- Make your monthly payments using an automatic debit from your checking or savings account and we'll skip two more payments.
CFCU Borrower Benefits are compatible with Stafford and PLUS Loans
CFCU Borrower Benefits recognize all Stafford and PLUS program benefits, including deferments and forbearances. For example, if you make your first 10 payments on time, and then defer payments for a year, just pick up where you left off. Make your next 20 payments on time, and you'll still qualify for Borrower Benefits.
