Jim Ely has been hired as the new branch manager for the Northwest Office of Creighton Federal Credit Union. The office is located at 90th and Bedford.

“Jim Ely is the right choice to manage our Northwest Office,” according to Creighton Federal President Tom Kjar. “He’s a long-time member and former employee of St. James parish, so he knows the Catholic community. He’s been a member of our credit union for years, so he knows the Creighton Federal membership. He’ll be sensitive to, and in a good position to serve, the unique needs of both.”

Ely brings a strong work history to the job. He spent three years in the Creighton University admissions and financial aid offices, and six years as the business administrator at St. James Parish before his 13-year stint with Catholic Mutual. According to Jim, "After being in the CFCU family for so many years, the chance to be managing the branch I use the most was a wonderful opportunity. I look forward to meeting members I don't know, as well as seeing so many old friends who are members."
